Our next Lodge Curry Night has been scheduled for the 17th April. Our last Curry Night at Akbars, Birmingham, was a fantastic night. Hearty food, a drink or two, good fellowship and not least several eye poppingly large family sized Naans. They were seriously large naans. Each one nearly as long as your forearm and nearly as wide, all skewered on a metal tree at the centre of the table.

Akbars was good once we got to the table but the parking was a nightmare and the fact that they ‘lost’ our booking definitely took the edge off an otherwise tremendous night.

For our next outing we will be dining in the Saffron restaurant, Oldbury, where you can be sure we will have an equally enjoyable evening.

UPDATE:
As predicted we all had a fabulous time with some very fine food and fabulous company. We will definately look to return to Saffron again in the future.

Up coming social events are: our ‘Ladies to Dine’ dinner – to honour our partners and thank them for their support; and our Summer BBQ.
