Last week at the 304th regular Lodge meeting of the Lodge of Happiness, three junior Brethren gave 3 talks on a wide variety of subjects:

‘Jerusalem and the first Crusade’ by Bro. Philip D. Williams.
‘Masonry and Martial Arts’ by Bro. Colin R. Bennett.
‘Squaring the Circle of Vitruvian Man’ by Bro. David Walker.

All were very well received and a host of superlatives have been used to describe the night, on the night, at the Festive Board and subsequently. This style of Lodge was a first for us and others, but it was not the first time the Lodge of Happiness has broken up the normal routine of Regular Lodge meeting with something unusual.
