In June 1964 the Lodge of Happiness was consecrated. June 2014 will be our 50th anniversary.
To celebrate the founding of our Lodge and its Consecration, the Lodge of Happiness will be holding a 50th Golden Jubilee Festival for 12 months beginning with our April Installation meeting. Planned events include dinners, trips and other events. Details of which will appear in our news pages and below:
The Ceremony of Consecration took place on Wednesday 3rd June 1964 at the Edgbaston Assembly Rooms. It was led by the Right Worshipful Brother, The Rev. Michael Clarke MA, Rector of Westonbirt, Provincial Grand Master. Immediately following this ceremony Worshipful Brother Neville Gilbert was installed as Master of the Lodge by Sir Stanley J. Harley, Deputy Provincial Grand Master.

On the 10th of April 2014, a number of honoured Brethren attended our Lodge meeting to help the Lodge of Happiness celebrate the start of their Golden Jubilee and Install their 51st Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Michael Willetts. See: Oh, what a night – 50 years of Happiness.
As the closest practicable day to our Consecration date, the Lodge will be holding a Sunday Luncheon for Lodge Members and partners, on Sunday the 1st of June at the Fairlawns Hotel, Aldridge.

Trip to London for a Tour of Grand Lodge and the Installation meeting of the London Lodge of Happiness, both at Great Queen Street on the 20th of March 2015.
