Lodge Paper:
Squaring the Circle of Vitruvian Man – synopsis
Bro. David Walker gave the Brethren of the Lodge of Happiness a presentation in January entitled: ‘Squaring the Circle of Vitruvian Man’
The presentation went into the origins of the iconic image by Leonardo Da Vinci, from its ancient roots, breaking down the words of the Roman Architect Vitruvius and explaining the proportions used in the image. The talk concluded with a purely speculative look at the potential Masonic Symbolism of the image, which Bro. David coined ‘Arckitecton Man.’
