The United Nations declared in its resolution 66/281 on the 12th of July 2012 that the 20th of March would be International Happiness Day, declaring that: “the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal”. Here at the Lodge of Happiness, we share the UN’s vision and strive to pursue happiness in all things, both as Freemasons, in our own lives and in the wider community. Today the phrase: “When you smile, the whole world smiles with you,” will ring true more than ever before. Giving everybody a song in their heart, a spring in their step, a smile on their face – Happiness – is the greatest gift we have to give!
Happy International Happiness Day,
from the Worshipful Master, Wardens and Brethren of the Lodge of Happiness No. 7952
